TEN2030
TEN2030 is brought to the La Porte County community by Health Foundation of La Porte (HFL) and is the first gift given to the community by HFL. TEN2030's name comes from HFL's vision for La Porte County to become one of the TEN healthiest communities in Indiana by 2030.
TEN2030 is a central hub of information for La Porte County, Indiana. Since 2017, TEN2030 has provided the most up-to-date data, dashboards, promising practices, a local resource library, and over 200 community health and well-being indicators to the community. The tools and data on this platform help local leaders, service providers, researchers, students, and concerned community members better understand our community and access resources for community assessment, planning, collaboration, and advocacy.
At TEN2030, community members can:

Health Foundation of La Porte
Health Foundation of La Porte (HFL) is a nonprofit, independent, private foundation dedicated to empowering La Porte County residents to live healthy and well. Our vision is to become one of Indiana's top 10 healthiest communities by 2030. HFL was initially funded in March 2016 from the proceeds of the sale of IU Health La Porte Hospital.
HFL promotes health and wellness by focusing on three areas:
Strategic and Thought Leadership:
- Convening partners and providing leadership to solve our toughest health challenges locally.
Grantmaking and Scholarships:
- Providing grants to improve health, wellness, and quality of life in La Porte County and scholarships to support students in health and wellness careers.
Capacity Building & Continuous Learning:
- Strengthening and growing the capacity of La Porte County nonprofit organizations, including their knowledge, infrastructure, management, and governance.
- Providing up-to-date population health and well-being data.
- Offering a state-of-the-art Conference & Learning Center to provide meeting and conference space for nonprofit, governmental, and educational entities in La Porte County.
- Hosting health and wellness conferences and learning opportunities for the La Porte County Community.
