The mission of Healthy Families is to support new parents and empower them to be the best parents they can be. Healthy Families is free of charge and covers a wide range of services from child growth and development, promoting parent-child interaction, teaching problem solving skills, sharing immunizations information, and completing developmental screening to ensure your child is on track.

If you agree to voluntarily participate in Healthy Families of La Porte County, a Family Resource Specialist will visit with you in your home to home to help you become aware of the resources available to you in the community and determine if you would benefit from our on-going home visiting services.
