Prenatal Care
Care begins in the earliest stages of pregnancy, with prenatal checkups and services tailored to your specific needs. You'll learn about proper nutrition and work with your obstetrician to develop a birth plan, choose a pediatrician and get properly prepared.

Support Groups and Childbirth Education
We offer a variety of classes and support groups, including breastfeeding support, to prepare mothers and families before and after the birth of a child.

Labor and Delivery
Advanced delivery rooms provide everything doctors, nurses and other maternal specialists need to provide you with care. Experienced labor and delivery staff utilize advanced medical technology and manage C-section (cesarean) births and other surgical procedures.

Special Care Nursery
The special care nursery has been designated a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by the State of Indiana. This designation reflects the experience of staff and the protocol and guidelines used to care for babies born as early as 32 weeks gestation or who are moderately ill with problems expected to resolve rapidly and who are not expected to require subspecialty care on an urgent basis.

Postpartum Care
After delivery, we offer private rooms to allow time for bonding with your new baby under the care of a team of highly skilled nurses.

Breast Milk Donation and Dispensation Site
Northwest Health - La Porte is a breast milk donation site and dispensation site for pasteurized, donor, human milk (PDHM), in partnership with The Milk Bank.
