Pregnancy & STD/HIV Testing - La Porte County Health Department
The Health Department provides the following services. Call the location to confirm services and to make an appointment.
- Pregnancy Testing
- TB Testing
- Laboratory Services are offered only if you are established with a physician.
- Confidential STD/HIV Testing and Treatment
- Cribs for Kids for parents and caregivers of children without a safe place to sleep; eligibility is from 36 weeks gestation up until the child's first birthday.
- Lead Testing
- Lice Treatment Prescriptions
- Immunizations are offered to Medicaid recipients, the Uninsured and Underinsured (has health insurance that does not cover immunizations). If you have health insurance that covers vaccines, we will refer you to your primary care provider for immunization services. You must present a Medicaid card at the time of appointment for services to be rendered.
